MPStackware^TM for Intel allows any Intel based controller to be configured as a storage controller. A detailed HOWTO is available to describe the process of downloading, installing and configuring MPStackware^TM for Intel based systems. The minimum requirements to build an MPStackare enabled storage controller are:

• ia86 based controller/motherboard, equipped with one or more Ethernet ports
• ia86 based controller/motherboard, equipped with a bootable USB or Compact Flash port
• Disk connectivity (can be onboard IO controller or HBA) please see our AVL of approved IO controllers
• Host connection (can be Ethernet (iSCSI), Fibre Channel, SAS or Infiniband Host connection), please see our AVL of approved IO controllers

Please follow these steps to create an MPStackware^TM enabled storage system:

STEP1 - Download the Package from MPStackware^TM v2.10

STEP2 - Make a bootable device for your target ia86 based system (Netboot, USB or Compact Flash)

STEP 3 - Boot your image on your ia86 target platform and Request a licence file for hardware configuration using the Service Request Form

STEP 4 - Install the MPStackware^TM Licence

STEP 5 - Configure and run your MPStackware^TM enabled storage system, congratulations.
