XML scripter is a tool used to automate sending XML commands to an MPStackware^TM enabled storage array. XML scripter can be used to implement features not present in the standard GUI, for example searching for storage elements, free space on RAIDS, under utilised ressources, elements with certain up-time etc. XML scripter allows a storage administrator to recover any information available through the CML API and export it to his own reports or databases.

Replication allows data to be replicated from a source volume to a destination volume

Snapshot allows a point in time copy of a volume to be created.

Thin provisioning allows a volume to be created which is larger than the actual space allocated to the volume. As data is copied to the volume additional space will be allocated from the free RAID space. If space is unavailable an alert is sent by email to the storage administrator.

High Availibility option allows MPStackware^TM SE to be upgraded to the Enterprise Edition. High Availibility allows support for dual controller operation in active-active mode.
